Miss Me Yet?

This says it all....
Ohio: Bush 50, Obama 42

We’ll start rolling out our Ohio poll results tomorrow but there’s one finding on the poll that pretty much sums it up: by a 50-42 margin voters there say they’d rather have George W. Bush in the White House right now than Barack Obama.
Independents hold that view by a 44-37 margin and there are more Democrats who would take Bush back (11%) than there are Republicans who think Obama’s preferable (3%.)

No we don't miss him, we're pining for him.

As an Ohio voter, I think the poll understates the preference.

Another thing that amplifies Bush nostalgia: Obama is a full member of the political class and people know it, while we never had that impression of GWB.

Mr Sensing. You are exactly correct. I had never thought of that befoe. Obama is completely entrenched. Bush was always an outsider, like Reagan.

It's really easy to miss an administration that believed in America and wished the best for it's citizens. Having Obomber wrecking the economy, suing states about legislation they enact to protect their citizens, and denigrating us to the U.N. and almost every regime in the world just makes us feel like our leader really is an outsider. Could it really be much worse if we'd elected a Chinese communist? Only if the Congress laid down. Again.

Hodge has got it exactly right.

Although you might have been ashamed for him, Bill Clinton never wanted you to be ashamed of America.
